1. Matter of DPC is being pursued vigorously with all concerned authorities. Again went to Law Ministry yesterday but it seems that stay order of Chennai CAT is required to be vacated first. This stay is regarding the implementation of Parmar case.
2. AEC meeting of the Association will be held on 10.09.16 & 11.09.16 at Delhi. First day, GST will be discussed because it is being apprehended that a massive number of posts would be abolished on account of the units with turn-over upto Rs. 1.5 crore be given to the states. On second day, other issues will be discussed. As proposed by the President and accepted by the house in Associate Committee meeting held on 20.08.16, all of the delegates/units have to bear all expenses in r/o boarding, lodging, transport etc. on their own in relation of this meeting. Delhi unit, however, will provide fooding and hall to conduct the meeting. The venue and schedule of the meeting will be intimated soon.
3. A meeting will also be held on 17.09.16 at Mumbai exclusively on GST. All other Central Excise Associations have also been invited for this meeting. All the constituents of Associate Committee of our Association also have to attend this meeting. This meeting will start at 10 a.m. The venue and schedule of the meeting will be intimated soon.
