I am getting regular calls about the DPC for the post of Asstt. Commissioner. The list for the year 2016-17 was also expected to be placed on the site of HRD but the same is still awaited. It was being expected that the DPC for the years 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17 wold be conducted in the month of August, 2016 itself. But very unfortunately, CBEC is still waiting some communication particularly from DOPT on the issue of reservation alongwith relevant information from the field formations and our officers belonging to both categories (reserved as well as general) are retiring without promotion despite of thousands of promotional posts being in hand. The Association is in regular touch of the administration and pursuing the issue of DPC.
